  1. About Us

Gokula Music operates both a physical store and an online platform where we sell second-hand musical instruments and related gear. All items are pre-owned and sold in the condition described at the time of sale.

 

  1. Shopify Platform

Our website is hosted on Shopify Inc., which provides us with the e-commerce platform to sell our products and services to you. By using our site, you also agree to Shopify’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

 

  1. Eligibility

Our services are intended for residents of New Zealand, and by using our website or store, you agree to comply with local laws and regulations.

 

  1. Product Listings and Descriptions

     All products are second-hand unless otherwise stated.

     We strive to provide accurate descriptions, including condition and functionality.

     Items are sold “as-is,” and may show signs of previous use.

     Prices are listed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include GST unless stated otherwise.

 

  1. Orders and Payments

     Online orders are subject to availability.

     We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order for any reason.

     Payment must be made at the time of purchase via the methods listed on our site (e.g., credit card, bank transfer, Afterpay, etc.).

     A receipt will be provided via email or in-store.

 

  1. Returns and Refunds.

Due to the nature of our business, all sales are final unless otherwise required under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

In accordance with New Zealand law, we will provide a remedy if the item is faulty or not as described.

We do not provide refunds for change of mind

     Please contact us within 7 days of receipt or delivery

     Include your order number and details of the issue

     We may request photos or return of the item in-store for an assessment.

 

  1. Warranties and Guarantees

Second-hand goods are sold without manufacturer warranties unless explicitly stated.

We comply with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1993

Any additional warranties or return policies will be outlined on individual product listings where applicable.

 

  1. In-Store Trades

If you bring in gear for trade:

     You must be the legal owner of the item.

     A valid photo ID is required.

     Items may be inspected and tested before any offer is made.

     Consignment terms (if offered) will be provided in a separate agreement.

 

  1. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gokula Music Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services, including delays, loss of profits, or data, except as required by law.

 

  1. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Continued use of our site and services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
