Fender HM Stratocaster – 1989 (Japan)
The shredder’s Strat. This 1989 Fender HM (Heavy Metal) Stratocaster was Fender’s bold answer to the Superstrat era—built for speed, precision, and high-gain power. Made in Japan and packed with aggressive features, it’s far from your average Strat.
Featuring a lightweight basswood body, ultra-slim 24-fret neck, high-output humbucker in the bridge, and a factory-installed Floyd Rose licensed locking tremolo, the HM Strat is made for expressive leads and fast riffing.
