This is a rare, investment-grade example of the 1975 Gibson Marauder. Unlike the majority of Marauders found today, this instrument is in 100% original, un-modified condition. It still retains the unique Bill Lawrence-designed "clear tone" pickups and the factory-original pickguard, making it a true time capsule from Gibson’s Nashville plant.
The Bill Lawrence Innovation
The heart of this guitar is the original electronics. Bill Lawrence designed these sealed-in-epoxy pickups specifically to give Gibson a voice that could compete with Fender’s clarity and snap.
